Protecting your data matters to us. We process personal data only on the basis of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG) and the Austrian Telecommunications Act (TKG 2021). Here you can find out which data is generated when you visit this website and what happens to it.
In brief
- This website does not set any cookies and does not store anything on your device.
- We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party analytics or advertising services. We count a simple visitor statistic ourselves on our own server, without cookies and without storing personal data.
- Fonts, scripts and images are hosted on our own server. No Google Fonts are loaded.
- Our videos are delivered by the European service Bunny Stream. Videos from YouTube or Vimeo are only loaded when you start them yourself.
Hosting and access data
When you access the website, technically necessary access data is processed: IP address, date and time, the address accessed, browser and operating system, and the page you came from. This is necessary to deliver the website and to protect it against attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We ourselves do not analyse this data and do not combine it with other data. Technical logs of our service providers are kept only briefly and then deleted.
Our website is hosted on a server of OVH SAS, 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, Frankreich. OVH processes the data on our behalf. More information: https://www.ovhcloud.com/de/personal-data-protection/
For delivery and protection against attacks, we use the network of Cloudflare Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. In the process, access data is routed via Cloudflare servers, usually via a data centre near you. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; as a result, an adequate level of data protection has been established (Art. 45 GDPR). To prevent our e-mail address from being harvested by spam programs, Cloudflare encrypts it in the page code, and a small script makes it readable again in your browser. More information: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/
We have data processing agreements (Art. 28 GDPR) with our service providers. They may process your data only for us and in accordance with our instructions.
Visitor statistics without cookies
To know which pages are read, we count page views on our own server. Only daily totals are stored: which page was requested, in which language, whether from a phone or a computer, and which website the visit came from (only its name, e.g. google.com, without the exact address). In addition, we count how often the enquiry form is submitted and how often an e-mail or phone link is clicked.
We do not store IP addresses, do not set cookies, do not store anything on your device and do not recognise anyone. The stored totals cannot be traced back to individuals. The brief processing of access data while counting is based on our legitimate interest in designing our website according to demand (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The totals remain on our server and are not passed on to third parties.
Cookies and browser storage
We do not set any cookies on this website and do not store anything else on your device. We therefore do not need a cookie banner. Only in the protected administration area, which is used exclusively by ourselves, is a technically necessary cookie set after login that keeps us logged in (§ 165(3) TKG 2021).
Videos via Bunny Stream
Our films, preview images and the short clips on the home page are delivered by Bunny Stream, a service of BunnyWay d.o.o., Cesta komandanta Staneta 4A, 1215 Medvode, Slowenien. So that the images and clips appear, your browser connects to Bunny's servers as soon as the page is opened, and these servers receive your IP address and technical information about your browser. When you start a film, Bunny's video player is additionally loaded. It may store settings such as the volume in your browser. We use Bunny so that our films play quickly and in good quality without involving an advertising company (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Bunny processes the data within the EU and exclusively on our behalf. Videos from YouTube and Vimeo
If a project shows a film from YouTube, we use the privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irland. If a project shows a film from Vimeo, this is a service of Vimeo.com, Inc., 330 West 34th Street, 5th Floor, New York, NY 10001, USA. In both cases, you first see only a still image from our own server. Only when you click “Play” is a connection established to the provider, which then receives, among other things, your IP address. In the process, data may also be transferred to the USA. Google and Vimeo are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent given by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). More information: https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://vimeo.com/privacy
Contact by e-mail or phone
If you write to us or call us, we process your details in order to answer your enquiry and to prepare a quote (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The enquiry form on the contact page sends your details (name, company, e-mail, phone, requested service, message, desired date and – if you include it – your plan from the project planner) to us via this website. We store them on our server and in our internal management system. We store enquiries for as long as is necessary to handle them, and beyond that only where statutory retention obligations apply (for example, seven years for business records under § 132 of the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code (BAO)).
Project planner
In the project planner on the contact page you can put your video project together. The calculation runs in your browser; nothing is stored or transmitted in the process.
If, instead of choosing a template, you enter a short description and click “Get a suggestion”, we send only this text to the AI interface of Anthropic PBC, 548 Market Street, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA, which uses it to suggest settings. We do not store the text. Anthropic processes it on our behalf and does not use it to train its models. The transfer to the USA is safeguarded by EU standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 GDPR). The legal basis is your consent given by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Please do not enter any personal data there. More information: https://www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy
If you send your plan along with the enquiry form, the same applies as for any enquiry (see “Contact”). The planner's figures are a non-binding estimate, not a quote.
Links to other websites
We link to Instagram, YouTube, Joyn, Google Maps and the websites of our clients. As long as you do not follow a link, no data is transferred to these providers. Only when you click a link do the privacy policies of the respective provider apply there.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing of your data, the right to data portability and the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interest. You can withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future. To do so, simply write to us at [email protected].
If you believe that we are not processing your data correctly, you can lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde): Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Wien, https://www.dsb.gv.at
